WSEdit1040 allows you to program all the features of the following scanner models: Whistler WS1040 UK Version Whistler WS1065 UK Version Whistler WS1040 NZ/AU Version Whistler WS1065 NZ/AU Version Whistler WS1040 NL Version Whistler WS1065 NL Version The price for the software has been set to $35.00 USD per license. Please note that the WSEdit1040 software honors the PSREdit500 license keys. If you already have a license key for PSREdit500, you do not need to purchase a separate license key for the WSEdit1040 software versions. Latest Software Updates: WSEdit1040 Version 2.0 Release 1 (Released October 19, 2022) This is the first release of the WSEdit1040 software suite for the NON-USA versions of the WS-1040 and WS-1065 scanners. This version is a sub-set of the original PSREdit500 software, with changes made to support these versions of scanner firmware. Please note that the WSEdit1040 software honors the PSREdit500 license keys. If you already have a license key for PSREdit500, you do not need to purchase a separate license key for the WSEdit1040 software versions. Changes from PSREdit500: Import from the Radio Shack PRO-96 scanner has been removed. Import from ARC500 software has been removed. The default file name extension has changed from .bin to .WS1040NZAU, .WS1040NZAU, or .WS1040NZAU depending on the version of WSEdit1040 is being used. When opening a .bin (PSREdit500 USA format) file, the program will convert the file format into the current country version file. This is a one-way conversion. It is not possible to save the file back to the original .bin format. PSRCtrl500 is included in this package. The remote control protocol has not changed from those models so this software will still work.
